Discovery

Related to Shielded, this is a character I designed about 10 years ago back when I needed something to do.  In that time I've developed many different personalities, visual designs, motives, back stories and just a whole ton of things.  She took me a long time to flesh out, let alone visualise.  She came about as a result of my involvement with Shadowlack / Ramath-Lehi, a Sci-Fi PbP RPG board, the administrator of which, one , has continued to develop and evolve!

Shanu then became a mainstay on this casual account, which led to me practising many other things, grasping anatomy, and I only recently started my professional account, about a year ago; and more recently still I started populating with my works.

I wanted to capture a moment when she'd truly managed to gain control of magic and to feel its raw power.
